Texting while driving is very dangerous. When you drive, you need to have a fast reaction time. Texting slows down your reaction time, making texting while driving very dangerous. Another reason texting wihle driving is dangerous is that the people texting dont even realize how dangerous it is. A lot of people do it so this makes it a big problem. Our lab showed that it slowed down reaction times dramatically. Talking also distracts your driving. When you are driving, you are supposed to have your undivided attention towards concentrating on driving. Overall, you should never ever text while driving!
